Mark & Rachel – Epperstone

New build feature wall to divide the garden

Project to replace hedging with feature virgin dry stone walls. To section off a shaded area of the garden and frame a jasmine arch and sculpture behind. We recommended the addition of the dry stone seats in order to capture the view.

"We had an idea to have two drystone walls built in our garden and saw John's previous work, so asked him to work with us to help realise our idea. John listened, made suggestions and subsequently set about the work. Throughout the work, John continually checked his work against our expectations and as the walls developed he got to understand more what we wanted. As a result, he made further suggestions, which resulted in two perches within the wall from which we could watch our bees and their hives. John very much epitomises a craftsman in his work and is rightly proud of the walls he has created for us, which we all know will now clearly stand the test of time, for us and others to enjoy."
